MAN KNOWN AS “SNAKE WHISPERER” DIES FROM GUESS WHAT?
Malaysia’s famous “snake whisperer” died Friday from a cobra bite. Abu Zarin Hussin headed the King Cobra Squad of the fire department where he trained other firemen to identify poisonous snakes and to capture them without killing them. Firefighters in Malaysia are often called by people who discover unwelcome reptiles in their homes or in public places. Last Tuesday, Hussin’s luck ran out when he was bitten by a poisonous king cobra during a snake-catching operation in Bentong.
* That’s why you call a fireman when you see a snake, you’re supposed to kill it with fire.
* You know what the cobra whispered to the Snake Whisperer? “I’m a snake, you idiot. Chomp!”
* Well, that bites.
* “Man, this job is KILLING me!”
* The King Cobra Squad – and the cobra sure turned out to be king, all right.
* The other members of the team were rattled.
* Rest in Peace, Abu, and fangs for your service.
