MAN IN TACTICAL GEAR BURSTS INTO DOG SHELTER, ASKS, “WHERE ARE THE CATS?”

A man armed with a gun stormed an animal shelter in Melbourne, Australia, looking for cats. Police said the man, in his 50s and dressed in tactical style camouflage clothing including a mask and helmet, first approached a ranger on duty in the parking lot of the Lost Dogs Home, about 10:20 pm on Monday. He pulled a gun, then walked her into the shelter at gunpoint, tied her hands with cable ties and demanded to know “where the cats were” before leaving without taking anything. The intruder remained on the run on Tuesday.
