MAN GIVES UP DRUGS AFTER OBAMA SPEECH
President Obama addressed the nation’s drug addiction problem in a speech during his visit to Charleston, West Virginia on Oct. 21. Later that day, a local resident called 911 and said he needed help for a drug addiction and asked that deputies be sent to his home. The man admitted he was a heavy drug user, had watched the President’s speech and wanted to live a drug-free life for his mother. The Sheriff’s Office said after repeated calls back from 911 operators that day, their deputies went to the man’s home. They said he put his hands on the wall and said he needed help. The man, in his mid-30s, then showed deputies a cooler full of drugs that included included digital scales, 16 Suboxone packs and patches, marijuana, 19 grams of ecstasy and 158 pain pills. The Sheriff’s Department said that no charges will be filed against the man. Instead, he was taken by ambulance to a treatment center where he voluntarily entered a drug-addiction rehabilitation program, adding, “We applaud this person’s self-initiated efforts and wish him well in his recovery.”
* Thanks, Obama. No, really, this time – thanks Obama!
* Of course you have to factor in all the people who started taking drugs after an Obama speech.
* It’s the same way Trump inspires people to build casinos and condo towers.
* Hopefully the man will soon be on a daily regimen of legal prescription drugs like the rest of us.
* Meanwhile the deputies are looking forward to one of the wildest weekends ever.
* This man couldn’t have had more drugs if he lived in a pharmacy.
* Meanwhile Jeb Bush called to ask what it felt like to inspire somebody.
* Just wait ’til this guy comes down and realizes what he’s done.
