MAN FAKES KIDNAPPING TO GO OUT WITH FRIENDS

Two masked men burst into the San Antonio, Texas, home of Rogelio Andaverde and took him away at gunpoint in front of his terrified wife. Police swarmed the scene with helicopters when his wife phoned in the apparent kidnapping, but they found no trace of him. Two days later, Andaverde came home, saying he’d been released. But his story soon unraveled under questioning. The 34-year-old had staged the whole thing because he wanted to spend some time with his friends and was afraid to tell his wife. He’s now charged with making a false report.
* Wow. How whipped is this guy?
* I’m guessing Rogelio now has all the time in the world to spend with his friends.
* This would have worked better if he’d had his WIFE kidnapped.
* At least if he goes to jail, he’ll finally end up being held against his will like he wanted.
* Should have gone with a bomb threat.
* Do we have to go over this again, people? Fake kidnapping stories never work. Ever.
* And they always say the same thing: the story soon unraveled.
* See, the people that interrogate you after you report a kidnapping have been doing it awhile. They can smell your BS from a mile away.
* Plus, it makes it that much harder on people who really do get kidnapped.
* So if you’re thinking of staging a kidnapping, I’m begging you: Take another 5 minutes and think of a better plan.
* “Rogelio Andaverde”? Don’t tell Trump!
