MAN FAKED DEATH FOR MARRIAGE PROPOSAL

In the Philippines, a guy faked his own death so he could propose to his girlfriend. Shiela Parayanon was informed by police that her boyfriend had been in a terrible motorcycle accident and to prepare for the worst. When she got to the scene, it appeared that Jeffrey Delrio was lying in the street, next to his motorcycle, dead. In reality, it was all just an overly elaborate marriage proposal. He had help from some police staging the scene. As Parayanon ran up to his body, police rolled him over, and as Delrio started to rise he got up on one knee and pulled out a ring box. Surprisingly, Parayanon said yes.
