MAN BLOWS UP HOUSE TRYING TO KILL FLY

A man in Parcoul-Chenaud, France, blew up part of his home while trying to kill a fly with an electric swatter. The man, who is in his 80s, was about to eat dinner when he spotted the fly. He picked up the electric swatter and started chasing it, unaware a gas canister in his home was leaking. The electric swatter released a spark and lit off the gas. The explosion destroyed his kitchen and collapsed some of the roof. The man suffered only light burns to his hand. No one knows what happened to the fly.
