MAN BEING RELEASED FROM JAIL PUNCHES TWO COPS, INSTANTLY BECOMES MAN NOT BEING RELEASED FROM JAIL

A 43-year-old New Jersey man on the verge of regaining his freedom from a Pennsylvania jail didn’t quite make it after punching two officers. Sirbio A. Sanchez of Union City, New Jersey allegedly punched two corrections officers as he was being released from Monroe County Correctional Facility in Pennsylvania. He then resisted as the guards tried to restrain him. Sanchez was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault of a correctional officer, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and resisting arrest. Both officers suffered minor injuries.
* Are they sure it wasn’t just an overly energetic celebratory fist bump?
* Maybe he really, really didn’t want to go back to New Jersey.
* So much for the “correctional” part.
* Sounds like more action than the Mayweather-Pacquioa fight.
* “What do you mean you’re setting me free? I’ll put a stop to that.”
* Don’t worry. He should get another chance to get it right in around 10 years.
* It makes sense: Aggravated and simple assault from an aggravated simpleton.
