MAN ARRESTED BREAKING INTO PRISON
A man was caught climbing a fence at a Southern California jail on Sunday. Authorities say he was trying to get in, not out. 28-year-old Shane McDonald wasn’t a prisoner at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino when he was spotted scaling the perimeter fence early Sunday. But he did have a warrant out for his arrest. McDonald was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and on the warrant. Officials aren’t sure why McDonald wanted to get into the jail, but that’s where he ended up.
* Isn’t it obvious? To get away from the election news.
* At least everyone involved is happy with how it turned out.
* It’s “suspicion of trespassing” ’cause they’re not sure – is it trespassing if you’re going to where the police want you to be?
* Maybe he really was escaping from prison but he’s just going backwards in time.
* Hey, it happened in that Benjamin Button movie.
* Okay, time for our favorite game: What was he on?
* He could have been hammered on booze, but how could he have scaled the fence?
* Maybe he met someone very special the last time he was in prison. And by “someone” I mean his cellmate.
