LOSE WEIGHT THE COFFEE WAY
A study by scientists at the University of Nottingham suggests a link between coffee and the activation of fat fighters in your body. Researchers found that coffee can stimulate what’s known as “brown fat,” which they say is used for producing heat. Brown fat cells are the body’s internal fat fighters. When the body produces heat, it uses energy, thus burning calories. The study claims to show a cup of coffee can stimulate brown fat and, therefore, burn calories.
* So I guess all you fat coffee drinkers can start losing weight now that a study has told you how it works.
* As someone who drinks a lot of coffee, and as someone who is right now looking down at his waist, I call B.S. on this study.
* Brown fat. So we’re even more disgusting looking inside than we thought.
* If only there was a way to have the brown fat stimulate the donut fat.
* Results may vary – like if the coffee you’re having is a 600-calorie Starbucks Java Chip Frappuccino.
