LONELY WOMAN MAKES PIZZA DELIVERY REQUEST

Pizza My Heart, a pizza shop located in Stanford, Connecticut, received an online delivery order for two large pizzas. In the request field, the customer had entered, “Send us your cutest delivery boy. Tell me I’m pret,” which the restaurant assumed meant “pretty”. The male pizza employee expected to encounter a group of college girls when he made the delivery. Instead, he found a house decorated for a birthday, but only one woman at home. The woman told the delivery driver that she had thrown herself a birthday party but no one else came. She invited the driver in for cake. Hesitantly, he accepted. The driver reports that he stayed with the woman for about an hour, and they talked and laughed the whole time. Before he left, he hugged the woman and told her she was pretty.
* Talked and laughed. Right.
* She ordered two cheese pizzas and he threw in the sausage for free.
* I think the message was supposed to read, “Tell me I’m pretty desperate.”
* Check back in a year and she’ll have 30 cats.
* I’ve seen this video or at least the first ten minutes of it.
* No, this is great. I always wondered how it ended.
* Then of course, the pizza delivery guy returned to work and was fired.
* “How dare you take over an hour for one delivery? We’ve got a lot of orders here.”
* Pizza My Heart. Oh, he got a piece of her all right.
* Let me guess – now she calls the pizza place 40 to 50 times a night.
