KOREAN SOLDIER GOES AWOL TO SEE “AVENGERS: ENDGAME”

A soldier in the South Korean Air Force went AWOL so he could see “Avengers: Endgame.” The airman was one of 18 troops scheduled to leave their base for duty early last week. When the soldier disappeared, military police tracked him down via a taxi driver, who said he had dropped off a trooper at a nearby cinema. After the three-hour blockbuster was over, the unnamed soldier was arrested as he was leaving the theater. He’s now under investigation for leaving his post without permission.

* At least he did it for a good reason, not like he wanted to see his girl one last time or come out as a pacifist or some such.
* The search party considered storming the theater looking for the guy, but figured the audience would kill them if they disrupted the movie.

* As punishment, he will be forced to watch the new stinko “Hellboy”.
