KID SENT HOME FROM SCHOOL FOR SELLING SQUIRTS OF HAND SANITIZER

A student at Dixons Unity Academy in Leeds, England was sent home from school last week for selling squirts of hand sanitizer to his classmates. Jenny Tompkins said her son came home from school around 11 a.m. for capitalizing on coronavirus fears by “charging students 50p a squirt for hand sanitizer.” Tompkins said her son made 8 pounds ($11US) from his little business. He spent his profits on a multipack of Doritos, she said, and was “saving the rest to buy a kebab later.”
* Dixons Unity Academy: churning out future war profiteers since 2018.
* Dummy! You’re supposed to disguise your cash business by calling the fee a “donation”.
* Johnny has 14 ounces of hand sanitizer. If 16 classmates each buy a 1 ounce squirt, how much hand sanitizer is left in the bottle before he is thrown out of school?
* Now he’ll have to go back to selling little rocks of crack. Sad.
