KFC ORDER LEADS TO LARGE GROUP OF QUARANTINE BREAKERS
Much of Australia is still on lockdown due to the coronavirus. But around 1:30 am last Friday, somebody phoned in an order for 20 meals at a KFC restaurant in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong. Then, somebody tipped off the police about the large order. The cops followed the delivery car to the townhouse that had placed the order and discovered an illegal large gathering. Guests were attempting to hide in the backyard and under beds. In the end, the group was issued a total of 16 fines for violating lockdown rules. Police commissioner Shane Patton called the behavior “absolutely ridiculous,” saying, “That’s $26,000 (Australian dollars) that birthday party is costing them. That’s a heck of a birthday party to recall and they’ll remember that one for a long time.”
* “Pass me a wet nap, Lieutenant,” he added.
* Did they at least get to keep the food? Or did it end up in the Police Evidence Cafeteria – I mean, Evidence Room?
* $26,000 for KFC chicken? At two in the morning? Totally worth it.
* I smell a rat at the KFC.
