INMATE TRIES THE OL' KNOTTED BEDSHEET ESCAPE

Staffers at a jail in eastern Washington state foiled an escape attempt when they spotted a long trail of knotted bed sheets hanging from the window of a cell. They saw the rope of sheets that nearly reached the ground around 4:30 a.m. Thursday and put the Spokane County Jail on lockdown. The cell belongs to James Henrikson, a felon linked to fraud and terror in North Dakota suspected in a murder-for-hire plot. After finding the dangling sheets, officials moved Henrikson and a cellmate to another part of the jail.
* Now he’s being charged with felony cliche’.
* Just think of it as a metaphor for how tied up in knots the legal system is.
* I don’t get it. Are you telling me the windows of the cell don’t have any bars on them?
* What are they worried about? That the bars would ruin the inmates’ view?
* Okay, they tried this old trick so what’s next? Carving a gun out of a bar of soap?
* Didn’t these inmates learn anything earlier this year? The way to escape is to have sex with a female guard and offer to kill her husband when you get out.
