IMPATIENCE SURVEY

According to a new survey of 2,000 British adults by the BIC pen company, most people are incredibly impatient:
– We become frustrated after just 16 seconds of waiting for a web page to load.
– We hate waiting longer than 25 seconds for a traffic light to change.
– It only takes 22 seconds for people to start cursing their computers or TVs if a show or movie doesn’t immediately start streaming correctly.
– We don’t like to wait any longer than 14 minutes for ordered food to arrive at a restaurant.
– Seven minutes is the limit waiting for a drink.
– We get frustrated if it takes longer than 13 minutes to pick up our luggage after a flight.
* God, I thought this story would never be over.
* 13 minutes for checked baggage? The Wright Brothers couldn’t deliver your luggage that quickly back in 1903.
* Also, if by the third date, you haven’t – nah, let’s not go there.
* Nothing here about getting mad when you’re scribbling and scribbling with a BIC pen, waiting for the ink to start working.
* And NOBODY likes waiting longer than 9 minutes for weather and traffic, so let’s check in with [weather or traffic person].
