HOTEL GUESTS FIGHT OVER BUFFET WAFFLE MAKER

Two women fighting over the waffle maker in a Michigan hotel ignited a major disruption over the holiday weekend inside the hotel’s buffet-style breakfast area. Thirty people were ordered by the property manager to pack their bags and leave the America’s Best Value Inn, in Pere Marquette Township. The altercation started over the hotel’s waffle maker around 9 a.m. on Sunday. According to police, one lady walked up and asked another lady if she was in line for the waffle maker. She didn’t answer, so the first lady started to make her waffle. The other confronted her and said, “That was my waffle” and the other lady said, “No, it’s mine” and, as police said, it went downhill from there. Deputies were dispatched to the hotel and found a large group of people arguing over the waffle maker. The hotel manager asked that everyone be kicked out of the hotel. All parties involved were ordered to collect their items and leave.
* “No waffle for you!”
* But if he kicked them out over waffles, wouldn’t he lose a lot of dough?
* So the first woman was actually waffling about whether it was her waffle.
* Should have had a muffin.
* You know, most of these fights are just silly, but fighting over waffles? I could see that.
* That woman was lucky she didn’t get pancaked.
* This is why they don’t serve a brunch at the United Nations.
* I guess part of what makes it a Best Value Inn is not paying a chef to cook the waffles.
* You should have seen what happened at the carving station.
