HORSE RESCUED A MILE OUT TO SEA
A water rescue team in Ireland rescued a runaway horse that ran into the water at a beach and swam more than a mile out to sea. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution responded Monday afternoon when a horse ran into the water on Murvagh Beach and started swimming out to sea. The lifeboat crew located the horse more than a mile off shore and guided the disoriented animal back to dry land. The horse was not injured and was reunited with its owner.
* Hmmm… sea horse.
* Oh, come on. 2,006 more miles and he would have made it to Newfoundland. Lazy horse.
* Proving you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him think.
* ‘Heroes’ is an anagram for ‘horse’. Well, ‘horsee’, but still…
* Just curious – can a horse dogpaddle?
