HOMELESS MAN TICKETED FOR EATING PIZZA AT A BUS STOP

A homeless man was given a ticket for eating pizza at a bus stop in San Francisco. Eating on most public transit is prohibited but the rule is rarely enforced, but no one ever heard of the rule being enforced at a bus shelter. The man was more amused than outraged by the ticket. The man took the ticket to the Coalition on Homelessness, who said the citation would likely be dismissed if the man can show court officials he is seeking homeless services.
