GUY USES HIS OWN SEVERED FINGERTIP TO UNLOCK PHONE

You ever wonder what would happen if you wanted to unlock your phone or unlock your car door with your fingerprint, but you maybe had lost your finger? That happened to Kieran Higgins, a British man living in Spain. He severed the tip of his index finger in an industrial accident. Afterwards, he wondered if his Galaxy A20 phone would still read the finger print of his cold, dead fingertip, which he had hung onto. He pulled the fingertip from its jar of medicinal alcohol, dried it off and it worked. The fingerprint sensor read his two-weeks-dead fingertip’s print and unlocked the device.
* Keep the tip. Good rule.
* So now every crook out there knows all they have to do is hack off your finger to get into all your personal devices.
* Let this be a lesson to never go for the iris scan.
