GUY DEMONSTRATING THE CORRECT WAY TO CLEAN A GUN SHOOTS AND KILLS HIMSELF

Josmel Herrera, 43, from South Florida, was demonstrating the correct way to clean a gun during a video chat with a relative on Tuesday. He accidentally shot himself in the chest. Cops responded to the home after receiving calls about a shot being fired. Herrera was taken to a regional trauma center and pronounced dead.
* And stupid.
* Okay, maybe not stupid. But definitely careless.
* Now the relative has to learn the correct way to clean a gun from someone else. Which in this case, is a good thing.
* I’ll bet Step One is “Remove the bullets.”
* There’s Florida again … I’m just sayin’.
* Let’s be fair to the man. The gun that shot him was very clean.
* This is unusual. Normally this type of shooting happens in a gun safety class.
* Of course, there’s other categories like when a man’s hunting dog accidentally shoots him.
