GROOM ARRESTED RIGHT AFTER CEREMONY
A newlywed groom was arrested shortly following his wedding ceremony. Police say Todd Sadefar was wanted on two domestic relations warrants and two traffic citations. Police were tipped off that the 42-year-old was getting married in Weatherly, Pennsylvania, and made the arrest shortly after Sadefar said “I do.” The groom was not allowed to stay for his wedding’s reception, and his wife had to go to the Carbon County Prison to retrieve his rented tux.
* After he said “I do,” the cops said, “He did.”
* Sure, the cops could have warned the bride before the ceremony in case she wanted to change her mind, but where’s the fun in that?
* “If anyone here knows any reason why these two should not be joined in holy matrimony – uh, you two cops in the back – anything to say? No? Okay, then!”
* And they said it wouldn’t last.
* You know it’s bad when you spend your honeymoon with your new cellmate.
* Imagine that phone call: “Yeah, they just booked me into jail, honey. I’ll call you. Oh, one other thing: could you come down and get my tuxedo? I’ve got to return it.”
* “And while you’re at it, can you bring me some wedding cake from the reception?”
* This guy has “winner” written all over him.
