GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM KICKED OUT OF LEAGUE BECAUSE THEY KEEP WINNING

A Rogers, Minnesota, basketball team was bounced from a league for being too good. Coach Jason Hanauska found out Friday his high school team with Rogers Area Youth Basketball Association was kicked out of their own league. “We found out on Friday they were not going to be allowed because according to the league our girls were too talented,” Hanauska said. The letter stated that other teams do not want to play them due to their skill level. Three teams were threatening to either forfeit the games against them or quit the league, so officials kicked Hanauska’s team out of the league.
* And the letter was signed “The Philadelphia 76ers”.
* How about letting them play if they agree to wear mittens?
* Blindfolds?
* I’m sure everyone left in the tournament will get a lovely Certificate of Participation that they can show their mom and dad.
* They threatened to forfeit? First you have to have something we care about before you threaten anyone.
* Oh, and thanks for all that competitive spirit.
* It’s a good lesson for the girls in 2016: Excellence will no longer be tolerated.
* Do you think we got into this mess in this country by winning at things?
