We generally do not list special days which were created by commercial companies for the purpose of marketing – including “holidays” created by the National Day Calendar and Wellcat websites to drive traffic to their websites – or the hundreds of disease awareness listings which occur each year. We present only those specially designated days we feel your listeners would find most interesting or significant.)

THE PETTIEST REASON YOU DUMPED SOMEONE
Reddit asked, “What’s the pettiest reason you dumped someone?” Some of the responses:
– “I couldn’t get over how he constantly kissed his dog more than the average person.”
– “She would refer to herself in the third person. She’d be like ‘Well, Shelly doesn’t like that.'”
– “He spent the night in my apartment. I was horrified to find that he both did not wash his hands and did not brush his teeth more than three times a week. I dumped him later that day.
– “She would always put on lip gloss before we would make out.”
– “I did not know what to get him for Christmas so I dumped him.”
– “We had been dating for a few months. We put on a movie for the kids, and I looked over and he was crying. It was Chicken Run. That was it for me.”
– “This man would text me with no punctuation. One of his literal texts he sent was: ‘okay sounds good I’ll be there at 7 maybe idk it depends traffic…’ and on and on.”
– “He told me his nickname at work was ‘Hollywood.’ As a professional career woman, I just…couldn’t, and never saw him again.”
– “I hated the way he swallowed water from his water bottle. He’d throw his head back as far as it would go and hold the water bottle straight up. But the angle of his neck from being that far back made the water have to SQUUUIIIISSHHH through his esophagus, and it was always the loudest, squishiest gulping noise. I couldn’t stand the sound anymore.”
– “She said she didn’t like cheesecake. I was looking forward to the last slice in the fridge. She ate it because she said there was nothing to eat. The house was full of food, she just didn’t want to cook.”

U.S. NEWS
FAKE NURSE ARRESTED
A Florida woman has been arrested for posing as a registered nurse. Investigators found 29-year-old Autumn Bardisa had provided medical services to 4,486 patients between June 2024 and January 2025. She made it into the job by submitting false documentation and providing a license number belonging to a nurse with the same first name. She had explained the discrepancy by claiming she had recently got married and had changed her surname. The way they caught her: Bardisa was offered a promotion. That’s when they found her – or rather the other nurse’s – license had expired. She is charged with practicing a health care profession without a license.
* Well, that’s one way to avoid student debt.
* She provided care and comfort for 4,486 people, and we can’t have that, can we.
* For 8 months she was a nurse. 4,486 people divided by 245 days is 18 patients a day. [If she worked a five-day week, it’s 4,486/181 = 24 patients a day.] And she was good enough to get a promotion. The woman is a monster.
* Here’s a thought: HELP THE WOMAN GET A DAMN LICENSE. I’m tired of sitting in a doctor’s office waiting for someone to be available.
* At least she wasn’t, like, a fake cardiac surgeon.
REVEREND RIGS RAFFLE
A pastor in Erie, Pennsylvania, is accused of rigging a church raffle. The plan was for St. Jude the Apostle Church to sell 9,999 tickets at $50 a pop to raise about $500,000. The grand prize was a C8 Corvette Convertible, with additional $500 prizes to other winners. The Corvette winner was a man named Martin Anderson of Detroit. However, the church’s pastor, Reverend Ross Miceli, said that Mr. Anderson decided to take a $50,000 cash prize rather than the car. The problem: there was no Mr. Anderson of Detroit. He doesn’t exist, and the $50,000 disappeared. Reverend Micelli is being investigated for fabricating the name of the raffle winner. He also reportedly admitted to choosing the $500 winners, who were all family friends or his favorite parishioners. A search of the church office uncovered high-end electronics, a new Tesla, expensive sneakers, and Disney collectibles, all owned by Father Miceli, in addition to high-end resort and casino membership cards.
* When it comes to raffles, it looks like the Devil has HIS number.
* Father Miceli, I am so disappointed in you. A Tesla?
* Disney collectibles. Well, that explains where most of the money went.
* Anybody think to check the collection box lately?
* This could be the end of Reverend Miceli. Or the beginning of a successful career in televangelism.
MAN HUMPS TRADER JOE’S REFRIGERATOR
Seattle police officers on Tuesday responded to a report of a man in a Trader Joe’s store who was humping a refrigerator and making threats. They arrived to find a 33-year-old man with a knife who, besides the Public Display of Affection with the refrigerator, had threatened workers with a knife, made racial slurs, kicked a flower display and threw apples. The man was arrested for… well, take your pick.
* Police are calling the humping incident a cold case.
* Some people really love Trader Joe’s, and they have their own way of expressing that love.
* The spark was gone with his kitchen fridge?
* Let me guess – he was in the Two Buck Chuck aisle?
* Trader Joe’s might want to pull the Vanilla Cold Foam Creamer for awhile.
