FLIGHT WAS SO BUMPY, PASSENGERS GOT A REFUND

Turbulence was so bad on an Air New Zealand flight last Wednesday that “about 20 percent” of passengers were vomiting, and in the end everyone got their money back. The plane was hit by 110-mile-per-hour crosswinds during the hour-and-25-minute flight from Christchurch to Invercargill. Passengers said the turbulence was almost non-stop. The pilot did keep talking to the passengers, telling them what was going on. The flight made a normal landing and passengers who felt sick were treated by emergency services teams. And then, Air New Zealand offered all the passengers a full refund in recognition of their awful experience. Customers also had the option of attending a debrief with the flight crew.
* Debrief is where you take off your underwear and rinse it out.
* “This is your pilot speaking. I hate to bring this up, but – BLEUUUUGHHHHHH!!!!”
* For an hour and 25 minutes, everyone on board was named Ralph.
* There was more hurling than a javelin competition.
* Imagine a company giving a refund over something they had no control over.
