FIRST DATE ABANDONS INJURED GIRL ON MOUNTAIN
In Queensland, Australia, Sarah Wylie was on Mount Tibrogargan, part of the country’s Glass House Mountains, with a guy she’d been “hanging out with”. He had suggested they climb up. But on the way down, she stepped on a loose rock and started to fall. She lunged for a tree but caught a sharp stump leaving her with a deep gash on her hand. Fortunately, a group of off-duty auxiliary firefighters nearby quickly came to her rescue. Then, as the rescuers helped Wylie down to a waiting ambulance, the guy who climbed with her announced he was running late for work, and took off.
* He’s got to be at work, but he has time to climb a mountain?
* He was hoping she’d fall for him, but not like this.
* The relationship went downhill while it was going downhill.
* Mount Tibrogargan, which in English means “Have a nice life.”
* The Glass House Mountains, next to Stitch in Time Valley and the Penny Saved River.
* PHONE TOPIC: My very bad first date.
