FINLAND’S ALL-FEMALE ISLAND RESORT

A women-only island off the coast of Finland is opening soon. The resort is called “Supershe” island, advertised as a “rejuvenating and a safe space where women can reinvent themselves and their desires.” According to the Supershe website, the island can accommodate ten women in four newly-renovated cabins. Norway’s equality ombudsman’s office has been questioning whether a woman-only business would classify as illegal discrimination. Despite that, the resort is scheduled to take its first guests on June 23.
* An island of only women. I’ve seen those movies. “Wonder Woman” I watched in the theater, and the others I watched online, late at night, when the wife was out.
