FELONY CHARGE FOR STEALING A COKE FROM MCDONALD'S

A McDonald’s customer in Springdale, Arkansas, who emptied his cup of water and filled it with soda now faces a robbery charge. The restaurant manager said the suspect was one of three people who asked for water at the drive-thru window. The customers parked and walked into the store before dumping out the water and pouring soda into the cups. The manager spotted the three and told them to return the soda. Only 18-year-old Cody Morris refused. The manager even ran out and tried to block Morris’ car from leaving, but the suspect reportedly drove his vehicle in reverse and hit the worker twice before speeding away. Police arrested the driver after they said they found his car at a nearby bowling alley. It’s unclear whether he’ll face any additional charges aside from felony robbery.
* No charges for hitting the manager with his car, because, if you work at McDonald’s, your life is worth less than a soda.
* A felony? Maybe they mean he had a cup full of actual cocaine.
* If this is how dumb they are today, I mourn for the criminals of tomorrow.
* Or, if this is how poor people are, I mourn for capitalism.
* Of course, the bigger issue is: did he steal a soda, a Coke, or a pop?
* The manager tried to block the car? That’s ridiculous. You’ve got to know when to be a hero.
* It’s not like the guy kidnapped a baby. It was a soda for God’s sake.
* You know those Wall Street bankers must laugh their butts off, when they see us take these little crimes so seriously.
* Oh well, so all that’s left is for the taxpayers to spend a few hundred grand to deal with this.
* Then sit back and watch them turn it into a Super Bowl commercial for next year.
