FARMER SPRAYS ILLEGALLY PARKED CARS WITH MANURE – June 1

In England’s Lake District, a sheep farmer had posted signs and placed rocks to keep people from parking on his farmland. None of it worked. So the farmer, Hogg Hodgson, brought out his slurry spreader and sprayed all the cars with manure. It happened during a British Bank Holiday heatwave, when more than 20 vehicles parked on Farmer Hodgson’s private farmland, in order to enjoy the nearby national park. The field was clearly marked with a sign that read, “Polite Notice: DO NOT PARK IN THE FIELD.” There was a second sign warning that sheep were present. He put rocks down to block access, which people moved. So he brought out his slurry spreader and methodically sprayed all the vehicles with liquid cow manure. Mercedes, Jaguars and BMWs were among the casualties. The car owners were upset, and local police are investigating.
