FAMILY TIME SURVEY
A survey from A&W Root Beer looked at how families interact. 2,000 people were polled, here are some of the findings:
– 29 percent of families have a rule about mandatory time together as a family.
– 62 percent have regular movie nights.
– 61 percent have regular meals together.
– 52 percent of modern households have a curfew — typically around 8:30 p.m.
These are the Most Common Household Rules:
– Always say please and thank you.
– Always be kind.
– Finish your homework before playing.
– Put things back where you found them.
– Clean up plates after eating.
– Have dinner together as a family.
– No phones at the dinner table.
– Help carry in the groceries.
– No shouting.
– No going to bed angry.
* What about everyone always wearing pants? That should be a rule.
* They forgot the biggest rule of all: “Because I said so.”
