END OF THE WORLD THIS WEEK
Remember eight years ago when there was a thing going around that said the world would end on December 12, 2012, because the Mayan calendar predicted it? Remember when that happened, when the world ended? Well, it didn’t. You know why? Math error. Scientist – and we use that word loosely – scientist Paolo Tagaloguin has taken the Mayan calendar, the Julian calendar and the Gregorian calendar and recalculated that there was an 11-day-per-year mistake in the initial calculation, and when you add up the days with the correct math, the REAL end of the world will be this Sunday, June 21st, 2020.
* Two days before the John Bolton book. Bummer.
* Well, it’s nice we’re ending on a high note.
* What time on Sunday? Like, is sleeping through it an option?
* I wish somebody had told me earlier. I just bought the Disney+ streaming channel.
* Looking back on the past few months, is there any way to move that date up even sooner?
