DRIVE-IN HAUNTED HOUSE
Like most other countries, the coronavirus has hit Japan. People there are still being asked to social distance. But a haunted house design company called Kowagarasetai has created what they say is the world’s first drive-in haunted house. Technically it’s a haunted garage, located in Tokyo’s swanky Higashi Azabu district. According to the company, you drive in, tune your radio to a certain frequency where you’ll hear a story of how in that particular garage, “a horrible incident occurred long ago. But now, people say that if you park your car inside and honk your horn three times, something will happen.” (* Mary Worth shows up in your rear view mirror?) What happens is, a little horror show goes on outside your car as you’re attacked by ghosts and zombies.
* I thought it was gonna be a homeless guy comes up and asks to squeegee your windshield for 5 dollars.
* “I swear I heard that zombie say ‘Gimme 20 bucks or I key your car.'”
* The haunted garage doesn’t make a lot of money, so while you’re watching the show, they siphon out your gas.
* And if you get scared, just start up your car and run over the zombies. Great idea, guys.
