DOG INFESTED WITH 85 TICKS

A woman in Baxenden, England, discovered that her home had become infested with ticks after she took her dog for a walk. Kimberley Whitehead‎, 37, first discovered a tick burrowing in her leg last weekend after she went walking in the woods with her terrier. After finding a tick on herself, she checked the dog and found nothing. But within just days, the dog and the house were riddled with them. Her dog had 85 ticks removed from him under sedation at the vet. She had to have the house fumigated. Whitehead, her daughter, and her dog are all being monitored for Lyme disease.
