DO YOU ORGANIZE YOUR GROCERIES ON THE CONVEYOR BELT?

A debate is spreading across Twitter: What is the best way to organize groceries on a conveyor belt? The discussion started when personal chef Charles Hunter III asked a question: “Do you organize your groceries on the conveyor belt or are you a monster?” Some of the replies:
– “Raw meat together, frozen things together to keep each other cold, etc. — and then load onto the conveyor belt accordingly.”
– “The light, fragile things are first, so they will be the last to load in the car.”
– “I definitely try to arrange my items on the belt in a way that will make them easier to bag.”
– “Things go in bags based on when they’ll be used: Things for dinner go in one bag, ingredients for lunchtime meal preps go in another, and so on.”
– “The last thing to go in is the thing I bought to eat or drink on the way out of the store.”
* Doesn’t anyone else do it alphabetically anymore?
* How long has this chef Charles Hunter III been obsessive-compulsive?
* However you do it, just make sure to put the thing you bought in the wrong size at the end, so it really ticks off the people behind you when you have to run back and get the correct size.
* Screw this. I’m using self check-out from now on.
