DENTURES DISCOVERED IN CHEESESTEAK – July 1

A man in Bayville, New Jersey is suing Jersey Mike’s Subs after he found a pair of dentures embedded inside a cheesesteak last year. Fernando Rodriguez, 41, ordered the sub for delivery through GrubHub. When the sandwich arrived, it was wrapped in paper and sealed with Scotch tape. Rodriguez discovered dentures in the sandwich. Investigating the case, police learned that the dentures belonged to the GrubHub delivery driver, a middle-aged woman. She said she opened the sandwich to “make sure it contained the correct food item.” Uh huh. She said was also eating at the time and that she “accidentally placed her dentures in Mr. Rodriguez’ cheesesteak.” She eventually got them back, and Jersey Mike’s is being sued for negligence.
* Because why? They didn’t package the sub for delivery in a safe with a combination lock?
* There needs to be a rule – Before starting their shift, all GrubHub drivers must eat a five-course meal.
* No one likes food that bites back.
* Jersey Mike’s: Food so good, teeth can’t wait to start eating it.
* And remember, always brush after eating, even if they’re not your teeth.
