DEMOLITION COMPANY TEARS DOWN WRONG BUILDING

The owners of a duplex in Texas said that a demolition company mistakenly tore down their building. The duplex’s owners were waiting for possible FEMA assistance due to the damage from the tornado which hit the day after Christmas. But the Billy L. Nabors Demolition Company took it down, when they were supposed to tear down a home on the next block. “How do you make a mistake like this?” Lindsay Diaz, one of the duplex owners, said. “That’s what their job is — to wreck it in demo, and they really wrecked my life,” Diaz said.
