DEAD MAN BOUGHT 14 YEARS WORTH OF XMAS PRESENTS FOR NEIGHBOR’S CHILD

In the town of Barry, Wales, Owen Williams received a visit from the daughter of his elderly neighbor Ken, who had recently died. The woman was holding a large plastic bag containing Christmas gifts her father, Ken, had bought for Williams’ 2-year-old daughter Cadi for the next 14 years. Williams said, “It was like a Mary Poppins’ bag, the presents kept coming.” The neighbor, Ken, was 83 when the Williams first moved in next door two years ago. Ken became good friends with the family. Williams says they’ve opened one of the presents – a children’s book – but are unsure what to do about the rest.
* For god sakes, open up the box with the puppy in it soon.
* This is a sweet story, in a creepy sort-of way.
* Yeah, it’ll be great when Cadi turns 16 in 2032 and opens her brand new iPhone XS.
* It wouldn’t be so weird if Ken hadn’t had his body frozen and asked to be thawed out in 14 years.
* What a surprise! That the daughter didn’t keep the stuff and sell it on eBay.
