CUSTOMERS, EMPLOYEES TRAPPED IN IKEA STORE FOR THE NIGHT

Six customers and about two dozen employees were forced to spend the night inside an IKEA store in Aalborg, Denmark, after a snowstorm hit on Wednesday. The group were stranded inside the store as around 12 inches of snow fell, trapping the customers and workers. The impromptu sleepover saw each guest choose which of the Ikea products and mattresses they liked. Store manager Peter Elmrose said: “We slept in the furniture exhibitions and our showroom on the first floor, where we have beds, mattresses and sofa beds.”
* And every one of them has a dorky name: Klubbsporre; Haugsvär; Malm; Hauga; Gursken …
* Everyone had to assemble their own bed, too.
* And they had a massive pillow fight, I bet. All those sofa cushions.
* For dinner, they had some of those delicious IKEA meatballs. And for breakfast, well, even more meatballs.
* The snow is all melted now, but everybody is still trapped in the store, lost in those aisles that make no sense.
