COUPLE STEALS CLASS HAMSTER

Two residents of Skowhegan, Maine, were arrested on Thursday after they admitted to stealing a pet hamster from the Cornville Regional Charter School, as well as other items. The hamster, named Link, is a pet of the school’s kindergarten class and was recovered during a search. Stolen were tools, televisions, electronics and the hamster. Sheriff Dale Lancaster, of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, said, “I believe they felt (the hamster) was alone in the school and they wanted a hamster.” Link was returned to the school. Arrested were Gerry Braley, 26, and Alexis Lloyd, 19.
* Skowhegan, Maine: New England’s hotbed of serious crime.
* The hamster was found during a search? Please tell me it wasn’t a cavity search.
* So the missing Link was found then.
* Religious groups aren’t going to like that reference.
* July was already bad enough when they found that ancient snake in Brazil with 4 little legs on it. Whoops!
* I think they stole the electronics equipment then they took the hamster so it wouldn’t rat them out.
* I like how the Sheriff dove into the couple’s motivation for taking the hamster, like it matters.
