COUPLE LEAVES KIDS IN CAR DURING LUKE BRYAN CONCERT
A couple are facing criminal charges after authorities say they left two children in a running car while they attended a Luke Bryan concert. The was performing in West Palm Beach, Florida, this past Saturday and Sunday. Fans who were headed into the amphitheater called police and alerted them about two children who appeared to be sitting alone in a running vehicle. Authorities found two minors, ages 9 and 11, alone in the car. They used one of the kids’ cell phones and were able to reach their father, Kiel Sheppard. He and his fiancee, Courtney Blakley, returned to the car, where they reportedly admitted that they had driven more than 100 miles from New Port Richie, Fla., to see the show without lining up childcare, admitting that it “wasn’t the best idea.” The couple are now facing charges of child neglect.
* How stupid are they? I mean, didn’t the car have a trunk?
* This is what they get for forgetting the fake mustaches.
* Leaving your kids in the car during a concert. You know what they used to call that? The 1960’s.
* Hard to believe the guy who sings “Crash My Party”, “Drink a Beer”, “Drunk on You” and “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” would attract these kind of people.
* Sounds like someone’s going to be attending an encore at the state pen.
* “It wasn’t the best idea”? No, it wasn’t even in the top 500.
* I guess they figured the kids were like an adult if you added their ages together.
* Let’s go over the concept of the family outing again.
