COPS CATCH SUSPECT 50 FEET UP A TREE
Police in the town of Gray, Maine, tried to pull over a driver for speeding. He refused to pull over, took off, crashed and then ran into the woods. A police dog found the suspect hiding 50 feet up in a tree. 30-year old Weston Wing has had about 20 license suspensions over the past decade. He now faces charges of running from police and driving with a suspended license.
* The dog found him up a tree? Was it a bird dog?
* This is what’s known as barking up the RIGHT tree.
* I’m going to go out on a limb here and say he’s in big trouble.
* Smart move. Just stay up there till you’re sober so they can’t hit you with a DUI.
* It’s a really small town. Do you really have to speed when everything’s just a minute and a half away?
* Did he have to go to the bathroom?
* Personally, I don’t think suspending his license again is going to make much difference.
* At least make him move to a desert.
* That’d be a double win: Less stuff to run into, and no trees to climb.
