COPS BUST MIDNIGHT AIR HORN HONKER

Police in El Segundo, California, arrested a man who was driving around town for the last several weeks blasting an air horn in the middle of the night. The noise has been plaguing residents on the west side of the city for weeks. Residents who were awakened by the blast of noise were able to spot a car, a blue four-door sedan driven by a man. Early last Sunday morning, around 4 a.m., police on the west side of El Segundo heard the air horn, and saw a blue four-door Chevrolet Aveo. They stopped the driver, and found air horn equipment inside the car. Arrested for disturbing the peace was John W. Nuggent. Police aren’t exactly sure why he was doing it, but they believe someone in the area wronged him in some way, and this was his way of getting back at them.
* Maybe he was just horny?
* I know one thing: he was pretty honked off.
* What a blowhard.
* Someone in the area ticked this guy off so he made the whole neighborhood pay. Careful, that’s how it started in the Middle East.
* I would have gone with crank phone calls at 2 a.m.
* While we’re at it, why not arrest anyone who lets their car alarm go off for more than 10 minutes?
* Oh sure, if someone breaks in that’s different, but most of these cars just go off on their own.
