CONDIMENT-FLAVORED ICE CREAM

The Heinz company – the ketchup and mustard people – has released do-it-yourself kits that allow you to create your own Heinz-condiment-flavored ice cream. The kits are called “Creamz”, and they come in flavors of mayonnaise, BBQ, salad cream, MayoChup (mayonnaise and ketchup mixed) and, of course, ketchup. The condiment ice cream kits are, so far, only for sale in the UK, and the ketchup flavor has reportedly sold out.
* You think, “After Covid and quarantine and locusts and heat waves, what new horror can 2020 throw at us?” and then Heinz comes up with this.
* Can you drop relish on it, like candy sprinkles?
* You think, “Gross,” but this is England we’re talking about, land of jellied eels and boiled meat.
* As long as it’s got condiment flavor, might as well add some chopped up baloney and pastrami.
