COMPANY MATCHES YOUR LIPSTICK TO YOUR NIPPLE SHADE
Renae Moomjian of Tucson, Arizona, has started a new business, matching women’s lipstick shades to their nipple color. The business is called NipLips. She got the idea from her daughter, who was reading the trivia book ‘Uncle John’s Bathroom Reader’, who told her, ‘Hey, Mom. Did you know your perfect lipstick color is your nipple color?’ And the business idea was born. Renae gathered a bunch of lipsticks, did some testing, and eventually asked 20 friends to give it a try. She says 80 percent of her friends loved their exact match and all of them liked one shade darker. The mother-daughter duo launched NipLips at the beginning of 2019 to help women find a nude lipstick that flatters their skin tone. Right now, NipLips has eight colors with Tucson-inspired names, such as Prickly Pear, Purple Agave or Burnt Adobe. Using the NipLips app, you can scan a close-up of your nipple to get matched to the closest color for you. Eventually, NipLips hopes to customize colors specifically from your scan.
* Again, why did my guidance counselor not tell me this was a career option?
* They need better names, like Mamilla Vanilla, Busty Rust, Teat Wheat or Udder Butter.
