COFFIN MAKERS GOING ON STRIKE
Workers at a coffin manufacturing factory in the UK are going on strike over a pay dispute. About 50 workers at the Co-op Funeralcare facility in Glasgow, Scotland, have overwhelmingly rejected a pay offer that they said was “less than half that of the current real rate of living cost.” The strike action is due to run between 31 October and 7 November, bringing production at the factory to a dead stop. DEAD STOP!
* Start making room in your freezers, folks.
* As if this wasn’t bad enough, they’re also having supply chain issues with Hefty Bags.
* Sounds like the workers are getting stiffed.
* Kind of ironic, coffin makers going on strike over the cost of living.
* Inflation. It’s a killer.
