CINNAMON BUN RAGE

A 34-year-old Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly trying to hit a man with a car during an argument over a cinnamon bun. The victim told police that he got into an argument with Amy Joe Derepentigny at a market over her not having enough money for a cinnamon bun. They left that location and continued to argue. The victim began unloading items from the car, and Amy Joe said to him: “if you step in front of this car, I’ll run you over.” She then, according to police, “intentionally and rapidly accelerated toward the victim, attempting to strike and kill the victim.” The victim told police that he did some “high-stepping” to get out of the way, and the vehicle ran into the fence next to the apartment building.
* Then he went from the high-stepping right into a victory dance.
* We see a lot of senseless fights, but over a cinnamon bun? At least that’s worth fighting for.
* This is when I wish these stories came with a smell.
* Not enough money at the market for a cinnamon bun? Put something healthy back on the shelf, like your bag of salad.
* Amy Joe? Now that’s country.
* If only she drove a pickup truck, it’d be a perfect country song.
* I can just hear the chorus: “Get me a cinnamon bun or I’ll run your buns over.”
