CHIROPRACTOR ACCUSED OF TAPPING BUTTOCKS – Apr 20

A North Vancouver chiropractor has been admonished for certain behaviors—including what they are calling “tapping” of the buttocks. Dr. Steven Weller was accused by a patient of behaving “in a pattern of boundary violations and inappropriate touch” during treatment. This included social gestures such as hugging, along with “openhanded smoothing and ‘tapping’ of the buttocks.” Dr. Weller is under investigation by the College of Complementary Health Professionals.
* Tapping buttocks? To see if they’re ripe?
* This is just wrong – no ifs, ands or butts.
* I guess he’ll have to go back to just shaking it to get it into alignment.
* You’ve heard of acupressure? This is assupressure.
* It wouldn’t be so bad, but while he’s tapping he keeps yelling, “Butt Bongos!”
* Now his practice is in the can.
