CHINESE MILLIONAIRE MAKES BANK EMPLOYEES COUNT HIS MONEY BY HAND
A Chinese millionaire got into a disagreement with security guards at his bank in Shanghai. The man, known for some reason as “Mr. Sunwear,” wasn’t wearing a mask for COVID protocols, and a security guard ordered him to put one on. He felt the guard was rude. So, he withdrew about five million renminbi ($783,000) in banknotes from the bank – the maximum he could withdraw in one day – and asked the bank to count his cash by hand “in case it fell short.” It took a couple of bank tellers over two hours to count his money. He plans on removing the rest of his money soon.
* That really taught that bank guard a lesson, huh?
* The rich – they’re just like you and me. If we were jerks.
* Hopefully the tellers just sat there flipping through the bills without actually counting them.
* Did he also have the security guard write 100 times “I will mind my own business”?
* If he really wanted to do something useful, he should have ordered them to remove all the lime green Dum-Dum lollipops from the cups at the teller windows.
