CHINESE MAN HAD EAR FULL OF COCKROACHES

Doctors in China were shocked to discover that a man’s earache was caused by a family of cockroaches living in his ear (* If you call that living.) The 24-year-old man went to a hospital in October to complain of a “sharp pain” in his right ear, like something was scratching or crawling inside. The doctor discovered a bunch of newly-hatched German cockroaches – and their mother – in his auditory canal. There were at least 10 cockroach babies. The man told doctors he had a habit of leaving food near his bed while he slept, which likely prompted the roaches to explore his ears. The doctor was able to extract all the babies and their mama using tweezers.
* And then the mother cockroach looks at the doctor and says, “He had a hat.” (Old joke.)
* Who knew that mother cockroaches sit on the nest, like a chicken?
* Now the cockroach mom wants help getting child support from the kids’ deadbeat dad.
* He leaves food by the bed so if he gets hungry in the middle of the night, he just reaches over. So, a bachelor then.
* If I complained about an earache like this, my mother would have said, “Just hold your nose and swallow.”
