CHICAGO WOMAN LEADS SEX STRIKE OVER GUN VIOLENCE

A South Side Chicago woman thinks sex is the solution to Chicago’s violence problem. She is reportedly launching an online petition for a “sex strike.” The city has had well over 2300 shootings this year. April Lawson hopes women will sign up for her cause on Change.org and agree to abstinence until the men of their communities put down their guns. Lawson said she was inspired to start the petition because she is tired of the violence in the city and thinks “you have to hit people where it hurts.”

* There are wars that don’t shoot that much.
* To give you an idea of how bad it is, at any one time there are around 5 pounds worth of bullets flying through the air in Chicago.
* Of course, that number bumps up a little on the weekends.
