CHEF STABS ANOTHER CHEF AT P.F. CHANG'S
A P.F. Chang’s chef is facing a murder charge after allegedly stabbing his co-worker to death at the Northshore Mall in Peabody, Massachusetts, on Saturday. Chef Jaquan Huston, 23, is charged with first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of 38-year-old Elivelton Dias. It happened inside the P.F. Chang’s kitchen shortly after 5:30 p.m, just as the dinner rush was getting started. Police say Huston fled on foot after the stabbing, and was later arrested at his Salem home.
* And they’re still waiting for their vegetarian lettuce wraps at Table 8.
* P.F. Chang’s. The P.F. stands for “perforated frycook”.
* Unfortunately, an hour later, the chef was still dead.
* Should we now call Elivelton Dias, Edeadlton Dias?
* “Saturday night’s all right for fightin'” … not for stabbin’.
* It’s surprising, but if you’ve ever worked in the food and beverage industry, this is the image of chefs you’re used to.
* In fact, I bet some former waiters out there are checking the chefs’ names to see if it’s someone they know.
* You’re putting a bunch of egomaniacal artists in a hot room with knives. What could go wrong?
* I’ll tell you what could go wrong: They could murder each other.
* “I’ve told you for the last time – you’re using too much soy sauce!!!”
* Since it was a chef, let’s not say he stabbed him. No, he fileted him instead.
* “Excuse me, chef, but the carving station is over there.”
